My Lock-Right problem

Ok, some of you know I've been driving aroud with my front end not acting right after I put the locker in. Well, it turns out that one of the pins had broke in two.
Here's a pic of it:

If you look close, you can see the pin, or part of it, sitting sideways between the halves. That's why it wouldn't unlock. Now I've gotta get some replacement parts from Richmond Gear. How hard is it to get parts from them, or do I have to go through a dealer?

Richmond makes great products and carries everything you could want.

I use Drive Train Specialists

I can give you their number if you want.

I think their site is....

www.drivetrainspecialists.com

Thanks for the link and the offer, but I went by the 4wheel center today and picked up a couple pin and spring kits for around $8 a piece. So, hopefully I'll have it back together in a few weeks or so.

was that a part you broke or defective? man that sucks... good thing you got it all sorted out though....

I don't have any idea how it got broke. I don't know if its from me not doing the check after I put the diff back in, or what, but I sure would like to know.

wow.. glad you got it figured out at least some. i think ptrax would have sent you a new one really quick. i've heard they do anyway.
almost seems like it was a defective piece to break like that unless you put something together really wrong. looks like its in there correctly from the pic. the gap seems big but its hard to tell from the pic.

The wierd thing about it is, I can't find the other half of it. It may have fell out in the oil, but I haven't seen it yet.
