HI All , just drove home my 07 4x4 Sport Trac Limited 6spd 4.6L 3V V8.... Metallic Orange..

I get a lot of good info one automotive sutff from my buddies on the Mustang forum (my other car)... but sometimes I need the direct experience I think I'll be able to find here..

it's got 56K on it, so I was planning or servicing everything just so I know.. but I've seen that tings like the Diff fluid and ATF really don't need to be touched till 100k??

So as of now, I'm planning on:

-oil & filter change
-checking the brakes, probably replacing the pads at least.. I'll measure the rotors
-Topped off the Coolant, got a flushing kit ready, but not sure if that's necessary yet!

IF doing the Diff fluid is a good idea, what synthetics you guys recommend? I run royal purple in my stang, but it looks like the weights are differnt for font and rear, and I can't find a syn from the same brand for both.. I typically stick to Mobil 1 for everything, Royal Purple for gears...

Thanks! I had an 03 Sport Tac, then 2 F150s before I got a Car.. never again, so glad I have a truck again..

I'm between Harrisburg and York..

here's the Trac..

And the stang has HIDs now (not in the pic though), I went to the stock sytle housing and got hi/low 9007s in 6000k.. I'll be getting those for the trac and the fogs in yellow soon.. ddmtuning.com, you can't beat their prices, but make sure you know what you need becuase their service is horrible, but for $50 for a set of HIDs... can't compalin.
