Hi All. '93 XLT is getting tired.

I've been here a couple of times through the years. Was here last week finding out about replacing the radiator (important newbie tip: if you have the towing package with the heavy duty radiator, you need to get a replacement heavy duty radiator so the fan guard fits!)

So, my wife doesn't trust my 93 anymore (202,000 miles will do that), even tho we got in engaged in that car. (7 years ago) Where should I go for hints about what to replace it with?

I've been looking at the 02 with the 3rd row seat, (trying to keep total cost down below $10k), but I'm hearing they had lots of problems. Should I hold out for an 04? Or forget the 3rd row and go older (00 or 01).

I prefer 98-01's myself, but it depends on your needs from your vehicle. I'd stay away from 02 models, I never buy the first year of a new vehicle.

The biggest advantage of the newer would be the third row seat. (besides just being newer).

Curious that I see mostly 02s and a few 04s but very few 03s...
