00 SOHC 4.0 ,how do I get the bypass hose off then on? what is the easy way? remove water pump or thermostat houseing etc. thanks for any help

the easiest way which is also takes awhile is to remove the upper intake plenum and then take out the thermostat housing unit.
 






LOL,, any tricks or things I need to look out for? thanks for the help
