Hi guys, I'm not normally a 4x4 guy (actually I am into the whole sport truck thing), but I have respect for all customs vehicles.
anyways, I am involved in a college project called Mini-Baja, which is basically design and build an off-road go-cart for use in competition. My job is to design an independent rear suspension. I know that the 2002 Explorers have the indy rear, but do any other models?
Also, does anybody know of any other resources (internet sites, books, etc.) that give some information on independent rear suspensions for off-road use?

Thanks,
Spyda/Rick

I know the Hummer/Hum Vee has an independent rear. That's all I know.

the ford terrianosaurus in the BFGoodrich cataloge advertisements has irs. ^$)(% you ford for giving the 2001+ explorer struts. (yes i know that was random.)
