hi help please with my cd

hi i have a 2003 ford explorer the radio works but not the cds, when i try to put or eject cds shows....cd error....and nothing happent , please help do i have to buy a new one or i can fix this.

If it's the CD6 in dash changer, you can send them to be fixed, but most people just replace them. They are not very reliable units, especially to repair and rely on again.

Same problem

Get a cd player cleaner and run it in your cd player......it costs about 20.00 and takes about 2 minutes. Fixed the same problem for me. The laser lens gets dirty over time and can not read the cd....it just gives you an error message......

You can use the cd cleaner over and over again on other players....
