Got tired of the jack floating about in the back so I made this:

Maybe $12.00 overall and an hour or two cutting with a hack saw and drilling the holes.

1 1/2 angle and 3/4 x 3 sq tube

Made a wood insert for two jerry cans and to hold my tool box in place.

I like it. Sturdy and looks much better then putting it on the hood like the Jeepers do.

Looks great IMO!

Jeepers do that because it improves the appearance of their Jeep! :shoot: :chug::popcorn:

I like it. Guys over on the Tacomaforum build some wild racks and mounts to bolt in their beds, looks like something you'd see on there. Maybe add some led lights on the bottom of the mounts to see in the bed at night and I would suggest a cable lock to secure the jack from idle hands.

Thanks. Yeah, those Taco drivers have way to many cool add ons ready made for them. Didn't want to do a roof basket or hang it off the front. So the mini bed bar was born. Wanted to make another mount for a shovel but have not found those cool rubber ratchet clamps yet.

Will work on a locking system for the jack and gas cans. Also want to fit a mini tarp to cover the cans and tool box.
