hi/low beams on together

Does anyone know if it is possible to have both your High and low beams lights on when you turn on the high beams?... I've done the mod to allow the fogs to stay on with the high beams, but I'm curious to see if anyone has done or knows which relays to play with in order to achieve this... thanks for any insight.

I think that it would burn out your bulbs rather fast. Heat is what shortens bulb life and it has to be generating a lot of heat w/both filiments in the bulb on at the same time. On veh.s w/ 9005 & 9006 bulbs the bulbs only have one filiment not two like the 9007 does so they dont overheat.
Sounds like you are in the market for some driving lights....

thanks for the insight Bill, I never thought about the heat issue, I'm just trying to get the full range of light out of my lights... I do have a set of driving lights already mounted on my brush guard... but living and driving in northern ontario and only having my sight in one eye, I need all the light I can get on those dark roads. Thanks though... I guess I'll have to just add more lights... oh the truckers will really love me now! LOL
