Hi new member needing help

I have a 2004 Ford Explorer XLT and the rear wiper quit working. I can hear clicking noises from motor when switch is turned on. Any ideas on wht to check besides fuses?

If you hear clicking noise from the motor when its turned on then the fuses are good.

My guess is that the motor has stripped a gear and needs to be changed out.
