I had a working 8K HIDs in my Low's, but my X was in a small accident breaking the housing, and threading of the bulb itself busted so it wasnt sitting in the housing correctly, hence why im replacing my lows for 10k's...

so i hooked up the passenger side replacement, and turned on the lights with just my driver side light working. thought i got a bad kit so i bought another kit from a different company ( DDM )... and still the same thing, my passenger side light wont work ?

do you have to replace both ballast's at the same time ? or what ? install is pretty straight forward, and im afraid to disconnect my driver side light...

getting pretty ticked off about this issue, anything thoughts ? or things to look for ?

Are you getting power to the passenger side ballast?
Have you switched ballasts from side to side to see if that makes a difference?

im afraid to do anything to the driver side light cause if i lose that light them im really screwed...

is there seperate fuses for each headlight ? cause ive tried plugging in the ballast both ways with no luck...

at this point i wanna go back to stock lights cause this is pissing me off lol

You havent checked the fuses? Do you know if the pass side is getting power?

On my 05 my DDM kit came with the polarity reversed for both sides. I had to swap the pins to the opposite sides in the kit's harnesses. With it reversed I was just getting no lights. check the wires and make sure black lines up with black on both sides. I was told that it would be a plug and play kit so i think they may just be getting sloppy assembling them.

i even tried installing both kits i bought on my friends 04 X with no luck either...

cutting my loses, and bought some new halogen's Low's/Fog's

Silverstar Ultra 9006

Silverstar Ultra 9145st

so now that i installed the new silverstars, i still have the same result...

no passenger side headlight...

could i have a fuse issue ? my driver side light, and my fog lights are still working normally...

is there a fuse for each light ? this is really getting me mad, cause im 150$ in the whole over an out headlight...

sounds like a more serious electrical issue. There is only one fuse for both headlights. You probably have a wire spliced somewhere or a bad ground. Time to break out a wiring diagram and trace the wires.

You didn't happen to have a problem with mice recently have you? They like the eat the insulation off the wires and use it to build nests.

just what i wanted to hear...

now i gotta see if my warranty covers that...

Thank you so much fella !

im hoping its just a fuse
