I'm in the process of getting a '94 explorer for $200, don't know much about it except it had the front tranny pump seal go out on it. Long story short I want to take my time and build the motor in it. I have tossed around the turbo idea for a long time, but just started thinking about high compression N/A motor. What factory internals can I use to build high compression? I herd on another forum to use SOHC pistons. I do want to change the heads to the 95tm heads. Any ideas would be great. I know there were a few different cams for the OHV so which stock cam would be best to use, maybe getting an aftermarket cam down the road but for now just want to know what factory parts I could use to build a nice 4.0 OHV?
