My 96 4.0 has the original trans at 190k miles. It's had the shift flare for years. Recently though its gotten worse and now when its cold it takes it awhile to go into drive after backing out of the driveway. The question is would it be worth it or maybe even bad for it if i did the whole valve body/shift kit deal since it's got alot of miles?????
