trans question

I have a 97 ford explorer now runs but after 5 minutes and the trans gets warm it stops trans only works when it's cold.I was thinking B&M cooler bigger then the factory.Then i thought maybe the converter or valve body.Any help would be great

Does the OD light flash, if so a code is stored in the computer get it read. Also a line pressure check should be done, there is a sticky on how to do this.

yes light i have to take it somewhere close to get it read i'll look for the sticky thanks for the help.Just got back seems the light was the check engine light bank 1 the OD light doesn't flash and there was no other codes

seems to loose pressure after it gets warm could that be a valve body gasket after everything gets warm and expands.
