I have a 93 Ford Aerostar, going down the Freeway at anything over 55, I get a high pitched noise. I replace the front bearing on both side of the front axle. I am not sure however if it is the rear axle bearing or something in the differential. The noise does not change with coasting or speeding up. Because of that I believe that it is a bearing. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a lift. As far as the front wheels, I am not sure how it would be the front bearings as I already changed the front bearings just a couple of weeks ago. I do not have a e-4wd, all it is, is a 2wd. As far as the noise, it came on relatively quickly. Somewhere between a couple of days to a week. Also, I don't hear anything at low speeds.

checked brakes

I checked the brakes and there did not appear to be anything wrong with them at the time. That was just a little while ago. Actually when I replace the front wheel bearings. I found out some more information, the noise is actually timed to the engine. That rules out wheel bearings. When I am going slow and rev the engine, the noise happens however when I stop it goes away except when I am on the freeway. Then it happens all the time.

belts? Maybe the belt idle tensioner has a worn bearing?

A few years ago I drove my 93 a few miles with the inside carpeted engine cover off. I couldn't believe how loud it was!

The point is, maybe what you're hearing is a normal noise but the cover isn't seated right so it's letting a lot of extra noise into the passenger compartment.
