High pitched noise

You know what it sounds like when a TV is turned on, even if there is nothing playing?

There is that very faint, high pitched noise of electricity that you can hear, like a frequency..

Like a dog whistle, I guess... Exactly like this video!



I can hear it while driving.. and especially if I'm under the hood.

What component could possibly cause this? My dad says the alternator gives off sounds like this sometimes?

Your thoughts on this?

does the 05 have the vacuum valve on the firewall for the vents like the 06+? They have been known to cause a high pitch squeal. Its black and white, on the passenger side firewall. Pull it off and try blowing through it. Sometimes they get stuck.

I don't have anything to offer for a resolution of your noise. But I will say my dogs reaction to this video was kind of funny.

16 year old dog never heard a thing. He's in nap mode.
The younger dog looked up at my puter and crawled under a blanket.
