I replaced the heater core this summer, following suggestions found on this forum and a Haynes manual. I removed and replaced the dash. As I recall, the only issue at that time was an ABS light that was on. When I went to remove the instrument cluster, the vehicle rolled back and the driver's door that was partially opened, struck my truck and opened a little farther than designed to before I hit the brake.
After the mishap the power windows did not work. Neither did the speedometer, the wind shield wipers (front and back), inside lights nor the overhead temperature/direction display. I am sure the speedometer worked prior to the mishap and so did the power windows. I am fairly certain the interior lights and wipers worked. When I checked the power window switch I have no voltage on the light blue/black with the key on. When I check continuity btwn the light blue/black and the pins in the door harness it show continuity to two pins light blue/black and the red light blue. I suspect it is something other than the wires in the door and would like some pointers. GEM? ECM? Power acc relay? thanks ahead of time.
