Hitchin up an '01 XLT

I just got an '01 XLT Stock, and don't know much about modifications, but would like to at least put a hitch in the back, but maybe one in the front too? I don't really know what's out there, if I can do this myself, how much I should be expecting to pay? Any advice/help appreciated.

if your gonna be towing, then your probably gonna want to add a tranny cooler and stiffen up the rear springs. Aswell, but it all depends on what and how much you gonna be hauling.

But you'll want a class 3 hitch prolly $100-$200.
