HOLY FING CRAP HELP!

Well its 'our' driveway, me being the 16 year old highschool student. :) Anyways, I'm going to get some driveway cleaner and engine degreaser tomorrow and pressure wash with both. :)

Nweibley,

Be thankful your parents are cool. Some folks would have gone off in a bad way.
When they get done with their garden show take your folks out for ice cream as en expression of apprication.
You might feel funy doing that but I can assure you they will appriciate it.

Dont worry, I just spend about 7 hours pressurewashing the entire driveway with a 3500 psi pressure washer. I used some driveway cleaner material, although not too much because I cant have it kill the plants. The pressure washer sure helped, but ya know... it was alot of oil.
I am wondering two things now.
What is the best way to get an accurate oil reading. I think I may have poured in a little too much (mabey 1/3 QT too much). Also, I didnt change my oil filter (stock motorcraft fl-1a filter) because of the epidemic. Can I safely change it with oil in the engine, or can it stand to wait 3,000 miles till I try this again :)
Also, any suggestions on the best type of filter to use?
Thanks for your help (and support) guys

You can change the filter with no problems . IT WILL GET MESSY . Filters are hard to contain the oil loss from . Make sure if you do it in the driveway you put down a garbage bag under the area so if you spill a little it won't get to the crete . Once you change it , start the engine and check it for leaks . Once your sure it's not leaking , shut off the engine and let it sit a couple minutes then check your oil level and add as needed to top it off .
Also , it would be best to let the engine sit overnight if possible before removing the oil filter . It can be removed faster but overnight will allow some pressure to bleed off and keep the oil loss on the driveway to a minimum . Like I said , put a garbage bag under the area and place something on the corners of the bag to keep it from flying away while you work :)

Just thought I show what all the hubbub was about.

This is an overview of the whole backyard:

This is my favorite spot to hang out while doing homework:

This is our Koi pond, our Koi are dying and getting eaten by things, but they are bright colored and look cool (you cant see any in the pic):

And this is some rich lady's porsche out front that I want to steal :)

Also, here are some carnage shots.

And some that got on my freakin tire (it shot pretty far, dont ask, and now my suspension makes horrible noises when it articulates at full lock turning, I'm worried):

Ohh, well, at least the driveway is squeaky clean now, and the oil spot is taken care of pretty well for barely using any chemicals (for now, cant kill the plants).

Ohh well! What an ordeal. Thanks for the ideas guys.
Time to thank my parents for being cool too:)

Sweet yard man. You can play some killer hide-and-go-seek in that yard !!!!!

Love the hammoc.

Oh, per your last post. Look on the side of your oil bottle, there is a little " guage " telling how much you have poured in. The line on you dip stick between FULL and LOW is one quart.

Well I know I didn't even pour in all 5 qts. because I didn't remove the oil filter for obvious reasons, so I expect to have some extra in there, plus my car was run about an hour before I refilled, and I only let it drain for about 30 mins, it was still dripping when I quit, so I figure there is some still in there. Anyways, my suspension has me more worried. I'll get under there an see what it got on tomorrow, but could it have caused some rubber to swell or something? Should I just pressure wash it off and stop worrying?
Hehe, this has to be my worst oil change.
