Hey all, i'm going to do a spacer/shackle lift to fit 31's on my 93. My father is a machinist and agreed to basically custom mill all the parts. In the front we're going to just use some cold rolled steel to make the spacers, which should be pretty strong. In the rear I was mulling over the idea of have some shackles milled as well. The design will be basically the same as warrior shackles, but instead a three pieces welded together I was thinking of having them cut out of a solid block of hardened steel. I'm thinking the "arms" will probably be about 1/2" - 1" thick, and the same width as the stock shackels (looks like 3"), also like the warrior shackles they look like an H so the - part will probably be 1"-1.5" thick. And I think I saw that to get 1.5" lift they will have to be 3" longer than stock. What do you all think? I honestly hope they will be overkill as I will use them off road. Let me know, and thanks!
