Hood Modification?

Hi, new to the board, I have a '99 Explorer Sport 2wd with th 4.0 V6. I use it as a daily driver, and had a thought that might look pretty sweet on my explorer. But need some info from some Explorer officianotos. I was thinking about getting a functional Mach 1 shacker scoop converstion for a ('99)V6 mustang and fitting it to my Explorer, but I wasn't sure how much underhood room I have when the hood is down and what the diffrences between the mustang V6 and the Explorer V6 are. Can someone help me out with info?
