Ive got an '04 ranger 4.0L and im looking into intake systems. along with a KKM system would a hood scoop make any difference? I do a lot of highway driving and am looking for a little more power at higher speeds and i would think that an air scoop would ram air into the intake and help a bit. would you need some sort of tube to force the air to the intake or is just the fact that it is going under the hood enough?
