Probably not the best idea to ask this on a enthusiast website but still gonna ask. My heater stopped working on my 91 ford explorer and I want to hook it up to a toggle switch to make it work for cheap plus I think it's cool now let me explain my heater works fine on vent and low but that's it if I hook it up to a toggle switch it will make it stay on high and work perfectly I know this because my brother in law did it to my 91 probe unfortunately I can't reach him since he moved its the middle of winter and there is snow everywhere please help and could you dumb it down a bit I don't know that much about cars

Welcome to the forum, i am sure it can be done. We just need to find you a wire harness diagram. I am sure we can help you out if that is what your set on doing.

Are you modifying this because time restraint (need a quick fix for the heat) or do you plan on repairing the system later on?

Be sure to use a relay, most switches cant handle the current draw of a blower motor on high.

It's just a quick fix for now ill repair it later on

I have all the stuff I just need a quick how to my main issue is that I don't know what it looks like or whether I need to disconnect the heater from the switch and if I do where's it usually at
