2004 Explorer 4.6 Limited
So one night while driving home I noticed my horn would go off at the lightest touch, didn't think anything off it at the moment. Parked it that night and woke up at 2am to my horn blaring in my driveway. So I pulled the fuse and now have no horn. I have yet to dig in and try to solve the problem wanted to see if anyone has had a similar situation happen to them and what part(s) might be the problem. Thank you in advance for any input. I have the 04 4.6 limited

I just had a similar problem with my 02 Explorer XLS. I just bought it and the fuses had been removed by the previous owner. It was a wire that was worn through and grounding itself. It took me some time to find it. Try finding the wiring diagram for your year model and go from there. Mine was up behind the glovebox area but I'm not sure how much difference there is between an "early" 2002 and a 2004 model. Good Luck.
