Hose to fuel tank connection?

Hello,
On a 1995 Explorer, can someone please tell me how to separate the connection
of the fuel fill hose to fuel tank. If this connection has prongs,
there seems to be no way to slip a tool in there. Thanks...

I took a good pic. of it but don't know how to get it in this post.

I recently removed my tank on my 96 Explorer and ended up beating on the connection between the fill hose and the tank. After beating on it with a pry bar for awhile I finally got them apart. BUT, when I went to re-attach them, the hose would no longer lock onto the tank, and come to find out, the nylon locking ring that goes inside the hose connection has been discontinued by Ford. So be careful not to damaage that locking ring. If anyone knows where to get one, I'd appreciate any suggestions.
