Hoses to air cleaner

Which one goes to which side? One comes off the intake the other is part of the vacuum system. Thanks!

Are you referring to the two vacuum hoses that connect to the bi-metal valve attached to the air-filter box?

by the way does anyone know what those are for and what happens if you dont have them connected? I have a cone filter rather than the stock air box and those lines are just sitting there

I'm still not sure which one belongs on which side of the air cleaner.

It's a 50/50, pretty good odds! LOL, I don't know, mine are long gone, in fact I used the 1" that was left of each of those connectons to fix my 4x4. So now all I have is little metal nipples sticking up! LOL

AFAIK, there is not a right and wrong way to connect the 2 hoses to the air filter housing.
