I would think that you'd need some trimming. I needed to with 33"s and a 5" lift.

Thanx for the pics -- nice lookin expo. I am gonna do the 3 in. bl but do you have any suggestions on what ranger bl to buy and how much it is-- you used a ranger bl right? I'm actually going to do the lift my self and a couple of friends is there any hints i need to know?

any1 out there with 2wd explroer lifted? i need some advice

i just got back from a body shop and he said the best thing for me to do is a 3 inch body lift and i could only fit 31's but i saw a tire max list on this site that said i could do 33's so i was seing if there is any1 out there with a 2wd that could give me some advice. o yea by the way i have a 97 2wd explorer. thanks

i dont have a 2wd drive but i believe that you can add spindles in the front and shackels in the back. tha would give you another 2 inches for a total of 5inches (we can all add) and that way their should be no problem clearing 33's
