It is HARD to fit 35s without doing at least some trimming. If you look over at my <------avatar, you will see that 35s are close to the width of an X wheelwell. You would need a LOT of lift to not have to trim, probably a REAL unsafe amount of lift. I have about 10" of lift right now (probably too high), and a decent chunk of metal needs to be removed.

Maybe others here have been able to fit them well with 8"-9" of lift, but I sure couldn't.........................

Yeah, sometimes trimming is just necessary to look right. With pure lift your tire is going to basically be mostly below the truck, and you'll have a lot of wheel well on the top. 7" would be the max amount of lift I'd want on an ex. I've always thought I could fit 35s with 4" and trimming, but I might through on a 2" body for kicks this summer.

I ran 35's on mine with the stupidlift 5.5" with a 3" bl and only trimmed about 1" from the back part of the fender well, where they only hit with serious flex, never under normal to moderate driving

are you gonna wheel the truck? Trim the fenders to fit the 35s, keep the COG low so you can still manuver on the trail, and the road

Im running a 2 TT and shackles and a 3" body lift on my truck and Im running 35s. I needed to break out the sawzall on my front fenders other than that nothing to serious.

ok so yall dont think i should put nemore lift on it?? i am deffinitly gona put atleast 1" on the front so i can level it out u kno but maybe i will trim i just dont want it to look like S*** and an alternative for that would be bushwackers or sumthin but thatll run me a good 500 bux so if i trim will it look bad?? and if i do go up to 35s i would deff have to regear -- more$$

what gears are you running now? I've seen people run 35s and 3.73s. I'm running 4.10s with 35s but I plan to regear to 4.88s sometime this summer.

whoa cool...more people from Ga.

when you get 35s I will come see your truck, I live in Duluth.

if the truck is wheeled, then the body will look like **** eventually anyway, if you don't wheel the truck, why do you need 35's?

well ive been wheelin a while now ad as long as u take care of ur truck it will not look like sh*t ad i i wasnt wheeli it wuld be for looks ad only then would i get a less aggressive, all-terrain tire. ya duluth aint far from me like about 20 min. gasouthern-d u know here regal is off 141? i go there pretty often bt ya right now i am on stock gears which i think are 3.08 im pretty sure

yea, I used to go there a good bit, a lot of nice cars up there and a lot of ricers...there is a good and bad side to everything haha.
