not just by "its off", well no duh on that one. but are there any methods of testing it and would i have been able to tell listening to it. but i was cruisin around the other night and the sub was goin on and off. the fuse on my wire was blown-replaced it and it still doesnt work. im thinkin that my remote came out of my HU cause the voltage to flicker too much as to cause the fuse to blow. one person told me i may have blown the RCA outs on my amp. but that wouldnt cause the amp to not come on at all, would it? the power cable seems to be fine and its pretty open where it is located so i dont think ive burnt it up. the ground should be fine i have the ground in the same spot for around 8-9 months and this is the FIRST problem i have had with my amp (wich i could say the same for my sub) but any help would be appreciated!
