How can I tell if my transmission has been replaced?

I bought my Explorer with 131,000 miles on it and I have no way of knowing if my transmission has been replaced by the previous owner or not. Is it V6 and V8 explorers that have the transmissions that always have to get replaced, or is it just the V6 tranny?

The V8 4r70w tranny, that is in all pre 2002 v8s, is virtually bulletproof if it has been serviced properly and taken care of.

The Ford remanufactured transmissions have a service tag.

and the v6 tranny's blow..but i dont have good luck with trannys and i have prob cursed my self...so knock on wood!!
