I just got them in today, i got them off ebay for $50, they are in great shape. I don't know if they all have fins instead of bars, but these do. I took my tail light off and i have no idea. I called manik and the guy talked 100mph and i have no idea what he said, he gave me the part number so i could get the insturctions of their website so i did that and it was for a front bar. I know he gave me the right number because it is on one of the guards. He did say something about trimming a piece. They only have holes for 2 bolts and i would have thought they would have went behind the 2 bolts on top of the tail light, but they are kind of angled in toward and center and they look like they would have to go behind the tail light and screw in somewhere, someone help me please!! Thanks.

Happy trails!!

Is Smittybitt tail light guards the same as Manik?
Smittybitt is like $10 cheaper though. I don't know about the difference between the two brands.Dead Link Removed

Jason, if my 2 tabs weren't bent in, then that's the way i would have thought it should have mounted. I'm assuming you drilled those 2 holes? Also, does it just rest on the tail light on some guards on the out side of the truck? Know what i mean? If you could give me shot of the other side of the guard that we be great. I might have to bend these tabs out like yours. Thanks man.

haktmal--no they are different. I got mine for $50 like i said above, so mine were cheaper but they were used also. Thanks though. When i get back home i'll snap a shot of them and post it here.

don't tell me jason is the only one on the site that has tail light guards, come on someone else please let me know if these things just rest on the out side of tail light or what. Thanks.

Happy trails!!

Josh, mine rest on the outside of the taillight with a little rubber bumper.

Thanks for getting back Jason, but by the time i read your post i had already put them on. Mine actually rest on the body, you can see from the pictures. I like them though, i think they look good. I really need a brush guard to make them look even better....maybe one day!

Happy trails!!
