How do i know if its EGR?

I was looking into a 94 Sport, and im hoping its not EGR. IS there some obvious way to tell if it is? Something easily seen under the hood? A VIN code? From what ive seen and heard i dont think i want an explorer with EGR.

Ok, I called Ford today, and one of their "service advisors" said that all 1994 Explorers have EGR. Then why Do i keep seeing exhaust systems for a non-EGR 1994 Explorer? Help me out here.

the parts you see for non-EGR explorer means that they are for race or offroad vehicles only and arnt street legal. there are intake systems and computer systems that can be purchased that only have the fuel injection and no emissions.
