I think the Ashtray has a couple screws, then you remove the whole trim piece that surrounds the radio, climate controls, 4x4 switch and vent. I think the vent and switch come off with the trim piece.
yeah, take the ashtray out. There's 2 screws in there. Take them out then carefully pry the panel off. It's nothing but clips the rest of the way. Comes off in 1 piece. Careful of the headlight switch & the lighter socket. There's a connector behind that.
