how do I remove the CD/tape

How do I remove factory cd/tape player out of my 2003 explorer XLT without breaking the dashboard?

Well there are some din pullers you can buy at wal mart for a few bucks in the radio section and you stick them in the holes on right and left side and pull the thing out. I do believe there is also some screws in the bottom of the front to undo the bezel.

thanks, I look into that. BTW, you wouldn't happen to to know if the factory radio has RCA pre-outs?

There are none.

Oh well, I guess a wire tap to one of the speaker wires would suffice.. I hope it doesn't cause too much interferennce though
