I took apart my front end and needed to unplug the abs. I plugged it back in after I was done. Now when I press the brakes and right before I come to a stop, my brakes kick back at me like i'm trying to stop on ice. I think I need to reset my abs. How do I do so?

Mine started doing that right after a brake job also, I just disconnected the system as new sensors and resetting the computer didn't help. I think my problem is that the tone ring on the rotor isn't right (wrong rotor). However, my truck doesn't reallly need ABS with the larger tires so I don't mind.

If you still want your ABS, I'd see if you got the right rotors.

Thanks, I did what you said yesterday and they were the right rotors.

Then I have no clue cause mine is still doing it after it was reset and got new sensors. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I just unplugged one of the sensors to disco the system and put electrical tape over the dash light.
