How do I upload my Avatar?

I had my account upgraded to Elite Explorer some times ago and I still did not see on my Profile any link to apload my avatar. Can you guys help me out please..

I've always had to send the pic I've wanted to use to Rick and have him take care of it. Last i heard there was supposed to be an update early this year to the software allowing us to do it, but I've yet to see that, and under a variety of other BBs I can. Who knows... PM Rick and he can probly help ya out.

Yeah i really hope in the next update that we can change our own avatar, i'm sure it would save Rick alot of work too.

It may also cause Rick a lot of headaches when inappropriate avatars start showing up. I kinda like the idea of Rick being in control of what avatars show up oh his board.

I believe the reason we are unable is because if he changes the option allow us to upload then it allows ANYONE to upload avatars, not just Elite... that may be wrrong, but i thought that was the issue last I heard...

Exactly, the software won't allow you to just block some and not others, it's either all or nothing.

Self-loading avatars will be enabled with one of the next software updates.

I think we should have a choice to upload different avitars over time. It allows change and at times humor. As long as it's within taste it's okay. Uh, well look at inappropriate posts... That'd be the same for avitars. If someone disagrees with an avitar, they could report it. Generally speaking, i think most elites are respectable people.

My only isssue I would have with self loading avatars would be people loading new ones every week, or using some stupid avatars that make no sense. I really like the Explorer ONLY avatars(with a handful of exceptions)

So am I suposed to email Rick my picture for my avatar or can I pm it to him? Also, generaly speaking how long does it take to get it applied?

yeah email it to him. he usually gets to it pretty quick.
