Have no idea. Should I just let the Ford dealer do it, & pay the $20 for it.

No, don't pay ford they get enough money from us as it is.
First off You need a 4mm or 5/32 Socket, they are the same size.
Under the hood just about directly above the headlights nearest to the fender there should be a silver rod sticking up, hex shaped on top.
Simply just use the socket to tighten the rod to raise the headlights, or loosen them to lower them.
ITs a very ez thing to do if you have the right tool.

thanks for saving me $20, i have to try what you said.

holy old thread:eek:

Good to know... I wish this was something the vehicle inspectors checked and corrected. It is a safety item after all and there are so many people with *$%'d up headlights out there.
When I lived in Va, I actually did have an inspector check them and maybe correct them... he pulled this machine up and adjusted it for the vehicle, then the headlights hit a sensor inside to tell them if the angle was correct.
Do they check this in "your" state... I don't believe they do in Pa.

The shop I used to work in always checked the aim of the headlights during a state inspection. First alot of people said their night vision improved alot, also it is part of the saftey part of state inspection in PA, we only charged five dollars if we needed to readjust them

Is there any left-right adjustment?
