How do you post a picture in one of these things?

I'm not asking someone to host images for me. Someone explain to me how to do it with the little image inserter deal cause I don't get it.

Welcome to this forum! You have to have the image hosted on another website. That link will go into your thread like this:

You have to upload your images to a website like Putfile, Car Domain, Image Shack, etc. There are a lot of them.

alrite so i put my pics on cardomain and registered..

how do i get the pics to show up here?

ive clicked the pic and pasted the hyperlink into the image thing and it comes up in the box with a red X

It worked like magic! Well to be on the serious side, here is what you should do. Open the image from the link, and right click it. It will say properties. Highlight the URL, and click copy. Type:

I was getting error messages trying to upload an image to the photo gallery. If I upload an image as an attachment to a thread, it works fine. If I upload to the photo gallery, it says "unable to make a thumbnail". I used a listing on EBay to get a picture to attach to my photo gallery since the picture wouldn't attach as an upload from my computer. Is there a problem with the site, or is it how the file was saved on my computer? It was a .JPEG image file.

I was able to upload another image to the photo gallery, so the question is: was there a problem with the image on my computer, or a temporary glitch on the website which prevented me from uploading to the photo gallery about a half an hour ago?
