How do you refill the Charcoal Canister

What is the way I can cut open the Vapor Canister and refill with charcoal? I've already tried 2 junk yard dogs and I still have the problem. A new one for $89 is out of my price range.

Never heard of that. Normally you replace it.

I saw how to do it with a Mercedes or BMW, I don't recall which, but this ain't no stinkin' BMW. So, it can be done. Hopefully someone knows.

WOW! That is a dandy site. They actually believe in diagrams. Thanks for the info. I will chomp into my spare canister and see what I can do to replace the activated charcoal.
