How hard is it to install fog lights?

My explorer doesn't have any fog lights so I was thinking about getting some. Is it really that hard to install them? I saw someone post something about remote control ones, does that mean theres no wires? I want to get some and put them where these are (the rectangle ones)

all you would have t odo is rig up some sort of bracket for it... many kits nowadays actually come with kits that can go into the plastic and do mroe extreme angles then the foglights of days past

I'm going to do the same thing you are thinking of. Thinking of going the remote route as well. Wire for power and your good to go, or so I'm lead to believe.

Thats the style lights I believe will fit in the lower airdam/grill area/whatever-you-call-it, optilux 1200 series.
The black set you can usually find for about 30 bucks on sale. The carbon fiber or chrome sets run about 40 bucks.

Thats the remote set, runs about 30 bucks.
They advertise Optilux for the budget conscious consumer, which is right up my alley, lol

I just installed the remote ones about a month ago, very easy to do and the lights I bought were piolts it came with the brackets,screws, wiring, and remote
all the install consisted of was running the power (I did it direct fromthe positive battery terminal by taking the nut off the terminal clamp then put the wire with a O conector on the bolt and putting the nut back on.
For the negative I just used a body ground inside the fender. I ran the wires behind the grill next to the head light and down to the bumper.

Its alot easier then it sounds took me a total of 30 min (including the cutting on my bumper(which your probably wont have to do) since your truck is newer and has more room.

Total cost 44$ at autozone for the lights,brakets, and remote kit.

Thanks for the remote fog light idea...I may get the remote fog lights for my factory location...but do they make them round O ?? Anybody know??

The PL 330 is 3" round, 360 is 4" round.
They come in clear lense which would be great w/silverstar bulb.
