I want to get a set of some 6.5 comp's up front, but i have NO idea how hard it will be to get them in there. Does anyone on here have 6.5's in, and if so how hard was it to get them in there? i dont mind building some MDF baffles or something. fill me in!

bump, anyone?

buy a set of 6.5" speaker adapter plates and use those to put the 6.5" speakers in the stock locations. You can mount the tweeters up higher in the doors or on the pillars and get a better sound stage than the stock door speakers would alone.

Should be fine with speaker adapters. Be sure to measure the depth of the 6.5 before buying it. Make sure it will fit so that it is not a problem and a PITA as listed above.
