I had a 5" lift on mine without having to modify the driveline.

6" of suspention usually seems like the limit unless you have alot of droop. You can still run a 3" body ontop of that. What size tire are you trying to run?

im thinking some 33, what do you guys think for a 4 or 5 inch lift?

i ran a superlift 5.5 inch lift kit and had 33 with no rubbing. you can get the kit for around 600 to 700 dollars. easy install also.
