How I spent my day

Decided my exterior was in for a little work, not gonna go crazy.
-Washed my truck with the two bucket method
-Claybared the whole truck
-Again washed my truck with two bucket method
-Then wax.

I'm not a pro whatsoever, but I pride myself on my clean truck..
Check it out and tell me what you think, or give me some pointers

Looks great. Can def see the HDR effects in the shots.

I washed and waxed my wife's XLT today, but didn't go as far as the clay. What is the 'two bucket' method?

First bucket is water and soap, second is just water.
Dip your rag in the soap and wash up a section then dip the dirty rag in the second bucket to get all the dirt and debri off.

It just helps so you dont rub dirt and crud into your paint. You can tell the difference when your done cause the water bucket has a bunch of crap at the bottom and the soap and water bucket doesnt.

Looks nice. Don't forget the tires/wheels.

Looks great! If you need some tips ask Joedirt. hes done some great work with his cleaning. What products did you end up using?

I used
-Ice car wash soap
-Meguiars Clay bar system (or something lol)
-And good ole' fashion Turtle Wax.
-And Armorall Tire Shine

Thats pretty much it. I plan on getting my hood restored, probally gonna pay for it considering I dont know how.

Thanks for the compliments :)

Medium Willow Metallic with a Willow Green interior!!! Every time I see one, I think of my old 1996 XLT of the same. That was really a great ride.

Great job!
