How many miles to a tank

OK guys, how about some honest fuel consumption figures? I usually get about 260miles to a tank brim to brim. Thats doing very short journeys. On longer runs, when it gets into fifth, I've had 320. Is that about average or is yours worse or better?

I've had about 147 miles to quarter of a tank.. but that was a long run... i'm usually putting 20 quid in every other day...

Just done a mileage check from brim full to brim full, but still had 1/8th tank left when I refilled and it did 330mls exactly (just turned when I pulled in to the pump :biggthump )

Put in nearly 80 ltrs @ 85.9ppl worked out at 17.9 gallons, worked back using 4.546ltrs to the gallon, and she was doing 18.9655

So I'm quite pleased with that - this was over 2 weeks doing 13mls each way to work and zipping around at the weekend in between so worked out to be £34.00 a week. The old diesel 2.8tdi Mitsi was costing around £50 a week and was far slower with it and not as comfortable either!!

For the last 40,000 miles I have an average of 18.8 MPG with a high of 27 mpg and a low of 13.5 mpg. I do mostly short trips of 10 miles or so.

Not sure how many miles to a tank - but it works out around 18.5 to the gallon - I guess I'd do 250 beofre I started to get worried :

I get about 220 - 250 miles out of a tank with mostly short trips of <5 miles.
Just over 300 if doing motorway driving.
