That seems to be high. Limp mode has increased pressure, so if you've ever experienced this, then you will know that it's not recommended for continuous daily driving.
You're fine with increasing the tranny pressure 25% from stock. Just don't do it in overdrive - keep overdrive stock.
And for the comment not to do it - It's better to have the tranny shift faster than to drag thru the gears and create heat. Again, you just don't want to do this on your extremely weak gear (OD)
I have the tranny maxed out when the pedal is floored and almost stock when driving normal.
Jakee, your reasoning is sound. You are always better to shift gears hard and fast to prevent wear and heat. However, the cases and components can't take that kind of abuse constantly. If you look at a case that has seen that regularly, it pretty well destroys them.
