How much does a '94 Explorer Weigh?

I am shopping for a tow bar for my X and I need to know how heavy my X weighs so I get the right one...

Anyody know?

Weighted in at 4600lbs.

2600 lbs over teh front wheels!

They are heavy.

i weighed mine with no cargo @ the races..... i have no front end and also a 235/75/15 spare and a reciever hitch...with 31 bfgs on the rest of the car...... i was minus a fender and hood and grill and lights and bumper.......came in at 4125

All though parts must weight another 475 ibs; that's not too far off.

These things are no lite weigths, I am surprised that they even get the milage they do.

you want to be very safe get a bar that can pull no less than 5000lbs thats what mine weighs in at with all my wheeling tools and 2 people so about 4500lbs curb weight, Just a dumb question but wont you have to have a breaking system installed for DOT reasons?

Mine weighed 5500 lbs before I added the rollcage, Atlas II and solid axle I bet I'm up to 6k now.
