i didnt buy em yet, but im pretty sure i saw em in pep boys for $25 per bulb, i think. i plan on picking them up soon, though.

Yes around $25 per bulb. Well worth it.

19.99 a piece at Autozone

thanks, i have an autozone right by my house so i'll try there first.

picked them up today. wow do these babies pump out the light.

$19.99 at Auto Zone but I cant seem to find who is giving out the rebates. I will check with R&S Straus.

If you want to really wake up those'Stars, change wiring harness to the headlights.

I WENT TO AUTOZONE FIRST AND THEY WERE $25 EACH JUST LIKE EVERYWHERE ELSE. i don't know about rebates or anything. also, i don't know much about wiring harnesses, what will that do? is that what hartman did, if you know?

thanks for the info. i think the stars are bright enough for me for now. whats up with the whole higher watt bulbs burning out faster? i hope i didn't pay $50 for something thats gonna last 6 mos. also i have those EGR styleyes so i guess a little light is lost cuz parts of the headlight are covered over. thats one of the reasons i got the stars.

im relatively sure that the silverstars are pretty close in wattage to the stock bulbs, so dont worry about them blowing out in a few months. you dont need a "heavier duty" wiring harness to run them; its a waste of time and money if you ask me.

if they are so close in wattage why are they much brighter? i don't know much about bulbs. i was going to get blue bulbs but then i found out they pump out less light than everything. thats about the extent of my knowledge.

I was thinking about getting the Silver Stars also. Saw them a couple of weeks ago at Autozone for $19.99 each but just went with the Sylvania Super Blues at WalMart for $18.00/pr. They're much brighter than the originals so I'm happy as it is.

The silverstars are very nice. For a simple upgrade its your best bet in lighting. Only 2 days ago I went to auto zone and they were $19.99 each. I think the extra light comes from the special gas that is in the bulb. It gives it that just right spectrum.

i see, i see. i got them at advanced auto and they had them seperate for $25 ea. and had pairs of 2 for $47.99. they had 1 pack left too. so i saved $2. woohoo. oh yeah it came with a little diecast nascar matchbox car. wow what a deal! lol

Maybe the prices are different for different regions which would kinda suck.

And the value of the NASCAR depends entirely on the fact that it should be Rusty Wallace in the #2 car. LOL

I was just at Meijers and they had them for $20 each, I woulda bought a set, but they only had one 9004 bulb left, so ill have to go to a different store tomorrow...

brokenman, i totally agree about rust wallace, my dad loves him. it wasn't though, it was theguy who replaced Dale Earnhardt in the Goodwrench car so it's kinda neat. my dad was telling me the other dat though that rusty isn't going to be on a taurus anymore, his team switched to dodge. that sucks.

You don't NEED a HD harness, but if you want more out of the headlights, one is necessary.

Do you have a HD harness and are not happy with it or are you just blowing off about it being a waste of money? Have you ever seen the results of having one?
