removing sway bars gives lift?

thats what i hear....

Removing the sway bars will give you more flex and more travel.. but they won't make the truck ride any higher.

And please take into considerataion that your truck will roll (read: body roll) a whole hell of a lot more around corners w/out swaybars. I have driven mine with and without. If you are cautious you can deal without, but I am an agressive driver and I will not drive on road without them!!!

Where did you "hear" such garbage?

I'd like to know this as well. I've never seen anything on these boards regarding the removing of sway bars giving lift.

well maybe i just read it wrong....i know ive seen the more flex though

With my AALs in the rear(stiffer suspension) I don't have anymore body roll than stock with my rear swaybar disconnected. Since I too am an aggressive driver, I wouldn't even attempt to drive without the front. Like everyone said, you don't get any lift from this.
