How much?

Well one of my friends might be selling a 94 explorer. Im looking at buying but i was wondering how much i should actually be willing to pay for it. It doesnt start they dont know why and i havnt looked at it much yet. Somthing wrong with the 4WD and their not sure what. Trans might be bad. paint is in great condition interior isnt bad. Im willing to put money into and make it my project but i dont think that with it in its current state its worth much. Let me kinow what you guys think!

I'd start low (say $500), and go from there.

I think you need to determine why it won't start (fuel, spark?) and if the trans is good or bad. The transmissions are a weak point on the 91-94s.

I just sold my 94 with 7.5 inch lift superunner steering 32's great interior ran perfect no mechanical problems. needed new rear tires

I sold it for $2000.


JammingG4jim just sold his 94 Eddie bauer for $2500 and he had same lift
33's 4.56's locked front and rear....tons more
He had some tranny issuses other than that it ran fine.

maybe that will help ya, I dont know.
