Dear All,
I have seen couple of thread about sourcing Fuel Injectors but I was wondering If there is any written procedure with pictures would be helpful!
I am feeling my truck is less in power, might be time to check or change Injectors?

Regards

How many miles on your injectors? Expensive first-try for loss of power, have you performed the obvious maintenance items- fuel filter, check fuel pressure? very unlikely ALL injectors, if responsible, are contributing to power loss, and 1 (or even 2) clogged/partially-clogged injectors will surely feel more like rough-running due to misfire, rather than general overall loss of power.

Just my thoughts! imp

IC,
Thnks for reply mate!

Oddo meter is stuck on 116 K since last 2 years; if i add everage of 20k / year then some where 170K, aprox.
My actual problem is low pick-up, once its moved & running it runs up to 150KM/h on highway.
I have changed fuel filter / spark plugs / cables cet / air filter/ didnt check fuel pressure!

CURRENTLY : I am facing little bit water leakage problem, under neath of alternator, initially i thought its water pump but its neat & dry, I showed to streat mech. he said its from cooling water jacket & both side gaskeet has to be change, BIG JOB ??
I shoul mention, temperature gauge starts to show bit high temp. then before, specially whan AC is on !
Plz. advised
NB: picture is attached , its not mine just take as reference only.
Regards

how cn i add picture?

do the fuel pressure check. i just did and on my st it took maybe an hour by myself reading all directions and trying to hook into the fuel rail in the back of the motor what a PITA to connect there. my results where 65 psi did fine. still gotta figure out what is wrong with it. i might be to the injectors next. good thing is that i have 2 spare fuel rails and 3 injectors on each one just gotta figure out witch one is best

how to perform fuel pressure check?

Tip: Rather than asking your question on an 8 year old thread (on a different subject title), start a new one.

To check your fuel pressure you need a fuel pressure gauge attached to your fuel rail's Schrader valve (looks like a tire valve). You can borrow a fuel pressure gauge from an auto parts store, or you can sometimes get away with using a $5 dial-type tire pressure gauge. I believe on a '95 you should see around 35-40 PSI.

ha, no cap

Hmmm, you can probably install a tire valve cap over it when your done, but try to clean the valve off before checking the fuel pressure. If there's any dirt in there it could prevent the valve from sealing and then you could end up with a fuel leak. Some brake/parts cleaner (using the plastic straw it comes with) would probably work to flush it out.

don't have brake / parts cleaner at the moment. can i use WD40 to clean it? just spray it?

Not the best choice, but I suppose WD40 would be better than nothing.

sprayed and closed the cap. started the engine and it started, and that was the last for today.

it happens everyday

This got me wondering, if the fuel rail valve starts leaking can it be replaced with the same valve core you'd buy for a bicycle/etc?

While the valve is basically the same design as a tire tube valve (and perhaps even the same size) I imagine the seals in the fuel rail valve are most likely made of a different material to be fuel resistant.
