If I change from a 3.27 to a 3.73 axle, how do I recalibrate the speedometer? Do I have to take it to the dealer, or can I do it myself with some tool (SCT, etc)?

2000 Sport.

SCT Flash should have that option.

Mine does.

Finally changed the rear axle to a 3.73 this weekend.

Indeed, my SCT Flash X3 has a setting for axle ratio. Thanks for the tip.

I doubt changing from a 3:27 to a 3:73 makes much of a difference to the speedometer.

3.73 / 3.27 = 1.141, so the change will make the speedometer read 14.1% high unless you change it.

That's enough of a difference to annoy me, personally.
